国际科学界的独立科学家联合呼吁：全世界所有国家、所有地区的各级政府，立即停止草甘膦的一切应用！征集全球签名，呼吁书将择时公开发出。

全球独立科学家——反对草甘膦宣言

我们是签署本宣言的国际科学家和医学工作者，我们呼吁全世界所有级别的政府机构行动起来，禁止草甘膦除草剂。作为专业工作者，我们熟知有关草甘膦应用后果的所有文献，我们的结论是：草甘膦正在造成无法修复的危害。

世界卫生组织最近将草甘膦重新归属为“可能导致人类癌症”，但它仅仅涉及到已知毒性的很小部分。长期暴露于草甘膦除草剂的后果，不仅是癌症，更有不孕、阳痿、流产、先天畸形、神经毒性损害，激素阻断，免疫异常，以及尚未定名的致命性肾病、长期腹泻、自闭症以及其他疾病。

草甘膦不仅危害人类健康，更是40种以上新型和重发植物疾病的原因。它导致整个食物网络【这是比食物链概念高一个数量级的新概念--译者注】不可修复的损害，其中包括植物界和微生物界为农作物、土壤、鱼类、水生生物、两栖动物、蝴蝶蜜蜂鸟类哺乳动物等提供养分的有益微生物，人体微生物系统也在其中。

为了挽救这个星球、保护我们的儿女以及未来的所有世代，我们必须立即用环境友好的方式替代一切草甘膦应用，拯救已遭严重破坏的食物网。

We,theundersignedinternationalscientistsandmedicalprofessionals,callongovernmentsatalllevelstobanthesprayingofglyphosateherbicides.Asprofessionalswhohavereadtheliteratureonglyphosateanditseffects,wehaveconcludedthatitiscausingirreparableharm.

TheWorldHealthOrganization’srecentreclassificationofglyphosateasa“probablehumancarcinogen”isonlyasmallpartoftheknowntoxicityofglyphosateherbicides.Chronicexposuretoglyphosateherbicidesisassociatednotonlywithcancers,butalsowithinfertility,impotence,abortions,birthdefects,neurotoxicity,hormonaldisruption,immunereactions,anunnamedfatalkidneydisease,chronicdiarrhoea,autismandotherailments.

Inadditiontohumandiseases,glyphosateislinkedtomorethan40newandre-emergingmajorcropdiseases.Itiscausingirreparableharmtotheentirefoodweb;includingtheplantkingdom,beneficialmicrobesthatsupplynutrientstoourcropsandsoils,fishandotheraquaticlife,amphibians,butterflies,bees,birds,mammals,andthehumanmicrobiome.

Forthesakeoftheplanet,ourchildrenandourgrandchildren,allsprayingofglyphosateherbicidesshouldbeimmediatelyreplacedwitheco-friendlyalternativesthatrestoredamagedfoodwebs.Weurgeyoutohavethecouragetostopthedestructionoflifeonourplanetasleadersforfuturegenerations.
